About Us
Southsea Girls is a vibrant community of women dedicated to empowerment and friendship.
Our journey began in January 2024 with a simple idea - to create a platform where women from all walks of life can connect, share their stories, and inspire each other.
We are passionate about connecting like-minded women, using our voices and platform, to celebrate women and challenge gender-based inequality.
Southsea Girls is run by a team of fantastic, experienced volunteers, including our new Southsea Girls Hosts, who donate their free time to help us grow our community and create even more connections.
We proudly hold space for women to meet and socialise, whilst also supporting local and national women-focused charities and causes through fundraising and donations, so we can all work towards a better, fairer and safer future for all women

Our mission
We aim to:
Create a community where women feel safe and respected
Offer spaces for women to socialise and form friendships
Support local businesses through events and collaborations
Create new opportunities for women in the local community
Advocate for women’s rights and equality
We aren’t able to:
Offer direct support, however, you can find a list of local charities and organisations here.
The key thing is to remember that whilst we are providing a platform for women, you will get out of it as much as you put in. We strongly encourage you to take the leap, break the barriers, and embrace womanhood for the most valuable Southsea Girls experience.
